What is an Obsolete Product?

A product in the "Obsolete" lifecycle stage is one that is no longer available for sale. It cannot be specified for new programs. Products in this stage can no longer be manufactured likely due to the unavailability of key board-level components. A product in the "Production" lifecycle stage should be specified for all new applications.
