The new E-Series universal chassis has been designed to be adaptable to any manufactured ESA flat panel technology. The E-Series works in either Ka-band or Ku-band for GEO, MEO, and LEO network use.

The Astronics Typhon Series is designed with the customer's needs in mind and offers efficient and flexible systems. These systems are offered in a range between 2 to 4 primary components and can be mounted anywhere on the aircraft that is within 100 ft of each other. The Typhon Series also has a modemless variant, making this agnostic system highly desirable for Special Missions. The Typhon Series SATCOM is designed for business aircraft, Special Missions, commercial aircraft, and VVIP. The Astronics Typhon Series provides passengers and crew true wireless broadband Internet and live DBS-TV access. No matter where you fly - over land or water in any region of the world - you can browse the Internet, send and receive emails and texts in real-time, use Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) telephony, access your VPN, and conduct video conferencing.Once the work is done, you can also sit back and relax while enjoying the inflight live satellite television service (DBS-TV) or streaming internet TV (IPTV).
T-410 System
The T-410 is the next-generation in-flight connectivity solution brought to you by Astronics. This Ku-band satellite communication system is designed to provide high throughput data (25MBps within the United States and 15 MBps globally) in a 2 LRU, lightweight form factor. The system provides a 12 inch antenna aperture called a Tail Mount Unit (TMU) intended for mounting in the tail space of an aircraft and a modem manager device (MODMAN) that can be mounted within the cabin or within the aft equipment bay of an aircraft.
The system upconversion, amplification, and downconversion are performed within the TMU as well as the motion control for the system pointing. The MODMAN provides the system aircraft interfaces, power regulation, and provides an iDirect iQ800 modem to convert the RF data and perform network communications. The system requires only 2 RF cables, an Ethernet cable, and power wiring interfacing between the LRUs.

The Astronics T-Series was designed for those aircraft which do not have the space or it is not desirable to install our F-Series fuselage-mounted systems. Mounted inside the tail section, the Astronics T-Series SATCOM is designed for VIP, head of state, business, general aviation, and government aircraft.
The T-351 system is Astronics' answer to your Special Missions needs. This system offers the flexibility required to interface with any desired external modem via Ethernet communication. This allows for modem upgrades and changes without affecting the connectivity system, making this product ideal for Special Missions/ISR aircraft applications requiring customer defined modems to be used. The T-351 system will keep you connected, productive, and entertained no matter where you fly. Coverage is ensured over water and higher latitudes while still providing full reception performance. With Ku-band, you can select from many different satellite operators, offering additional flexibility and operational security.
