A Warning About Recruiting Scams
We have recently been made aware of fraudulent attempts to impersonate Astronics in recruitment processes. Unfortunately, scams and phishing attacks targeting job seekers are on the rise. Scammers are unlawfully using the Astronics name and logo to offer counterfeit job opportunities and gather personal data.

Please be cautious and take note:
All legitimate Astronics email addresses will follow this format: name.surname@astronics.com. If you are contacted by someone whose email address does not match this format, do not respond.
Astronics will never:
- Ask for money, credit card details or for you to purchase equipment.
- Offer to send a check before you have performed any work.
- Extend a job offer without conducting an interview.
- Request sensitive personal information (e.g., driver’s license, passport, Social Security number, or date of birth) until after a written offer has been extended and accepted.
- Send emails from free email services like Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, Live, WhatsApp, WeChat, or any other domain incorporating the Astronics name or its subsidiaries that is not in the format: name.surname@astronics.com.
Please note:
- Automated responses to applicants who’ve applied directly on the Astronics Careers Site are sent from our applicant system host, ascentis.com.
- Astronics may partner with staffing agencies to help identify candidates for open positions. However, no legitimate third-party recruiter will ever ask for fees from job seekers.
If you believe you’ve encountered a recruitment scam:
- Take a screenshot or document the scammer’s details.
- If in the U.S., report it to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at ReportFraud.ftc.gov
- If outside the U.S., check with local authorities to report the scam.
- If contacted through a website or social media platform, alert the operators that fraudsters are using their site.
- If you have sent money, contact your bank immediately.
